This quilt coat is made out of a GORGEOUS pink 1940s era quilt. The color is primarily that vintage rose we all love, with feed sack stars throughout. The backing of the quilt is solid red cotton cloth, and the entire quilt has been hand quilted.
Some areas of the feed sack stars were worn out, exposing the quilt batting. Those areas have been mended with bright red chainstitched peonies and each mended area can be seen in the product photos.
Please review the product photos prior to purchasing. Please note that areas have been mended with chainstitch embroidery but still contain some visible wear from the vintage nature of the quilt.
This vintage quilt jacket measures 24” pit to pit and 35” from shoulder to hem.
